Philadelphia, PA - Soniqs Esports' Rainbow 6 Siege team has been knocked out of the Six Invitational 2023 tournament after putting up a strong fight. This was the team's first official tournament with the new roster, and they gave it their all to make it as far as they did.

During the group stage, Soniqs dominated the competition, winning all their games against Team Liquid, Wolves Esports, and Dire Wolves. The team showed tremendous skill and coordination, which led them to qualifying for the playoffs.

The first game in the group stage was against Team Liquid. Soniqs came out with a strong start and showed no signs of slowing down. The first map, "Villa," was an impressive display of Soniqs' skills as they won with a score of 7-4. Soniqs second game was against Wolves Esports. Soniqs started off strong and took the first map, "Kafe," with a score of 7-3. The second map, "Skyscraper," was a bit more challenging, but Soniqs still managed to come out on top with a score of 7-5.

In their third game, Soniqs faced MNM Gaming, and unfortunately, they suffered their first loss of the tournament. The first map, "Clubhouse," was an intense match that went down to the wire, with Soniqs losing with a score of 7-8. The second map, "Skyscraper," was equally intense, but Soniqs couldn't quite keep up and ended up losing with a score of 5-7.

The last game in the group stage was against Dire Wolves. Soniqs started off strong by winning the first map, "Oregon," with a score of 7-5. Game 2, "Chalet," was another impressive victory for Soniqs with a score of 7-1. The team's incredible performance in this series qualified them to compete in the playoffs.

Moving to the playoffs, Soniqs played a nail-biting series against DarkZero in the upper bracket. In the first map, "Kafe," Soniqs fought hard but ultimately lost to DarkZero with a score of 6-8. In the second map, "Border," Soniqs bounced back and secured an impressive victory with a score of 7-3. The third and final game was played on "Clubhouse," and it was an intense match that went back and forth. Unfortunately, Soniqs lost to DarkZero with a score of 7-8, putting them in the losers bracket.

In the lower bracket, Soniqs faced off against Astralis in a do-or-die match. In the first map, "Border," Soniqs started off strong and managed to secure a victory with a score of 7-5. The second map, "Oregon," was a close match, but Soniqs couldn't quite pull off the win and lost with a score of 5-7. However, Soniqs eventually fell short, and Astralis won with a score of 5-7, knocking Soniqs out of the tournament.

The team is disappointed about being knocked out of the Six Invitational 2023 but they are happy with how far they made it, especially as it was their first official tournament as a new roster. They know they have plenty to work on and are eager to improve, taking the lessons learned from the tournament into memory. The team is already looking forward to competing in NAL later this year and plans to come back better and stronger than ever before.
