As one of the youngest on the Soniqs’ Rainbow Six Siege team, Alex “Slebben” Nordlund first started playing Rainbow Six Siege just for fun without fully intending going professional. Once his talent was realized, he started competing on amateur teams like Moti On Gaming and NYYRIKKI Esports. Eventually, Nordlund made his way into the European Pro League last year, playing for mousesports and GiFu eSports. After impressive performances throughout the EU Pro League, the Soniqs made the first international roster move in Rainbow Six Siege esports and picked up Nordlund along with teammate Santino “Gomfi” de Meulenaere. Once with the Soniqs, Nordlund competed at DreamHack Montreal and the United States Nationals before the end of the year.
